is a pianist, arranger, and singer-songwriter based in South Korea and Boston. Since 2019, she has been a member of YEVEN, a Korean jazz-pop band, serving as a keyboardist and songwriter.
Born into an artistic family where both of her parents are guitarists, Jenna naturally developed an interest in music and began learning piano at the age of five. Her connection to music deepened through experiences playing at church, school, and with her family. However, her interests extended beyond music into the humanities and social sciences, leading her to major in political science and philosophy at Kyung Hee University. While she deeply valued these fields, she felt a strong desire to transform her thoughts into artistic expression. Realizing that her true calling lay in music, she began studying jazz piano at Seoul Jazz Academy.
In 2019, she was awarded the CJ x Berklee Presidential Scholarship and enrolled at Berklee College of Music, where she is currently double-majoring in Contemporary Writing & Production (CWP) and Performance. She actively performs and collaborates with various artists in both South Korea and within Berklee’s music community. Drawing from her diverse background — including her studies in philosophy — she also releases original music that blends storytelling with jazz and electronic elements.
